Congratulations on another great luminaire Smile They really are unique. The slipfitter, door hinge, door latch, body style, everything.

Yeah everything about these is unique, though the reflector is strikingly similar to the one in my ITT 13. Surprised I love the rubber gasket versus the felt gasket. It's a black rubber gasket too, which don't seem to get brittle. The gray ones GE used in the 60s would get very brittle.

Yeah I noticed that about the reflectors too.
Eventually when I get around to ordering some new felt gaskets, I have several cobraheads I need to install/replace gaskets.

I was telling Tony that sometimes I put the felt gaskets in the washing machine on delicate mode and wash them that way. Then throw them in the dryer at low heat. They come out like brand new. Very Happy

I use the hose to clean the gasket when I'm spraying out a fixture outside. Then I let everything air dry. My 313 I just got should be dry by now so I can fire it up. I sprayed it out last weekend I think.

I do that but if it doesn't work I step it up. Laughing

Nice addition to your collection. I remember I handwashed the felt gasket in my R47 and it came out pretty good. That's the only felt gasket I had to wash as my other fixtures with felt gaskets were new and my other used fixtures had rubber or were ungasketed.

Thanks Joe! Yeah it's a beautiful light. They sure don't make 'em like this anymore!
