Mike thats an awesome light! I have one too, got it from Joe M long ago. Mine is a 50w HPS. The ballast in mine looks smaller than this one.

Nice light Mike! Interesting that the FCO lens is frosted.

@ Dave; Thanks! yeah the OV-15 TuDors are really cool looking. I might install a drop lens in this but the frosted flat glass is really cool too. Yeah I was thinking the ballast might be too big to be 50W. I'd prefer it to be 50W since it would have been one of the first ever 50W HPS fixtures on the market but if it's 150W, It'll be my first 150W HPS fixture. If it needs a new ballast I'll probably install a 50W one though since 150W HPS would be a little bright for me.

@ Darren; Thanks! Cool

@ Joe; Thanks! yeah the frosted FCO glass is definetly cool (it's actually got a fluorescent troffer diffuser pattern on the outside and it's smooth on the inside IIRC0. The early M-400A FCOs had frosted glass too and maybe others too but i guess they switched to simple clear flat glasses to save money.

I wonder if the distribution will be better since its frosted.
