WOAH! Thomas & Betts 313 Powerpad!
This light is actually supposed to be FCO. All the other 313s were FCO as well as the M-250A2 FCOs mixed in. This one had a bornwed out poly drop lens and a dimmed out lamp and it's a dayburner. all the 313s except this one have their original 90s baby blue PCs. This one had a normal MV NEMA tag unlike the ones Joe M. has which have metallic tags. This one appears to have a newer PC though the lens is browned out and the lamp is dimmed (and yes, it was this green in person!). I suppose it could have dayburned before and they only changed the PC and now this PC is bad too? NGrid has been using some ultra junky PCs recently... I think the M-250R2 in the back is MV... Could be HPS though... I reported this and I'll see if it gets fixed or replaced... All the other lights (except MAYBE the R2) are all MV so i hope it gets fixed. All the other lights are 313 FCOs too but they have their flat lenses instead of a replacement drop lens. this area was mostly MV. If there were HPS, it was the whole street, not spot replacements, though i noticed all the HPS lights are 100W, so they must have only replaced the 175W lights in this neighborhood and left up the 100w mercs... The only 50w HPS lights were shiney new R2s that NGrid must have put up. this road was all 313 FCOs though except for a M-250A2 FCO and the M-250Ar2 in the background.

This is on Ridgewood road in rural Cranston off of Phenix Ave near the Cranston Country Club. It's kinda near my house. Maybe if you coem to RI again sometime this summer we can meet up and you might be able to see these in person. I've never seen a 313 here either. I had never seen a 100W MV m-250R2 but there's a bunch of them in a few of the neighborhoods around here. There are plenty of 100W mercs here, you just have to look for them... The stretch of Phenix ave that this neighborhood is off of is lit with 50W M-250R2s, 50W 113s, and 50W OVCs. All three big companies probably installed simultaneously lol. and yep. joe maurath has a few of these in his collection. They're nice lights and according to Joe when i had visited him, these are dual wattage 100/175W units, possibly with the "17" label still tucked away in the housing. if it's still in this one i bet it's all crispy now from dayburning for what appears to be years since the paint is all gone. I've never seen a Thomas & Betts light with all the paint worn off. Plus a lamp that dim, it must have been dayburning for at least a decade lol

These are very rare in Ontario too, I only know of a handful in use here.

Oh well guys, it appears this has been repalced by a 50W HPS M-250R2. Maybe the the days of relamping the 100W mercs have come to an end? Sad BTW, the R2 in the background has been confirmed to be a 100W merc. Cool

And now these are all AEL Autoban LEDs. Confused
