Are there any labels on the case?

Yep I posted a pic of it already. It doesn't give away a date, though it looks old. I bought it thinking there were lifelines inside, as i saw the lifeline end caps though a hole in the box. the box was sealed but had been opened and retaped, though all the lamps are identical.

I'm guessing it was made shortly after the got rid on the Lifeline style etch (early-mid 80s?). Since the lamps are identical it seems unlikely they were from another case.

Yeah makes sense... I wish they were daylight or cool white tubes though. Sad Laughing

Well, I'm sure you'll find something that a /WW tube would look in. Razz

I have a Sears "Soft Brite" lamp with endcaps like these, only it's an F40T12. I lit it next to a warm white Mainlighter last night and they seem about the same color, slightly brighter for the Sears though...would it be a /WW or /WWX?

i don't know if they have warm white deluxe... if they do perhaps it is one...

I believe is was common at one point but now soft white triphosphor seems to have displaced them from the hardware stores.

Yeah noways the old school halo warm white is becoming rare, though I admittedly say "good riddance"! I should try comparing that Sears lamp again sometime.
