Don't the highmasts seem much more practical in this setting than cobraheads? i mean it's not like there's a neighboorhood around here. Confused

there is a few car dealerships to the left and several distribution lines to the right. Confused

It does lol. The only difference is that this is the only are covered. RIDOT wasn't good at maintaining these either. Rolling Eyes

Lots of burned out ones and dimmed ones. Before around 2007-2008, 7/10 of interchanges were black with no lights or little lights working. They've gotten a lot better, but still suck at mantaining their lights. Confused

They seem to only keep up with the new installations. This interchange in particular is like a dance party with all the cycling lamps and dead lamps turnign on and off. Rolling Eyes

They shold've kept the highmasts. Sad

This pic's from 2005 of Interstate 295 at Exit 6A-B-C. These were either MH or MV, not sure. Now there's a huge string of cycling HPS M-400 FCO. Anyways, pic is property of AARoads.com...
