Cool to see some of these made it down to the US, I've seen a few MV ones here too along with HPS ones, and I also have one that I converted from HPS to MV/MH.

what are they Doing down in the US?...isnt it Expensive to ship Fixtures from Canada to USA?....also....these are Discontinued right?
gailgrove   [Aug 05, 2010 at 03:12 PM]
Well we have our AELs shipped from Mexico and Coppers and GEs from the US so its not that outrageous and yes they are discontinued.
Form109   [Aug 05, 2010 at 08:46 PM]
What is Discontinued?
gailgrove   [Aug 05, 2010 at 08:48 PM]
The B2255
Form109   [Aug 05, 2010 at 08:57 PM]
i Figured Sylvania Doesn't make any Cobraheads or Outdoor Fixtures anymore Eh?
gailgrove   [Aug 05, 2010 at 09:02 PM]
No they don't, Powerlite was bought out by AEL, hence why they still make the Twist-Pak and a few other Powerlite designs.
Form109   [Aug 05, 2010 at 09:13 PM]
i Haven't seen a Twist Pack Anywhere....Never....even though it is a Nice Design i don't know of any place where they are used.
joe_347V   [Aug 05, 2010 at 09:59 PM]
Hey Niall do you know when they discontinued the B2255?
Form109   [Aug 05, 2010 at 11:56 PM]
Besides the Lense and the Twistpacks what Other Design is continued in AEL from Powerlite?
gailgrove   [Aug 06, 2010 at 01:11 AM]
No I don't know when it was discontinued (maybe Darren knows), one other design that was continued is the Georgian Series, it has been modified a bit but is the same basic design.

Those poles (mostly the arm part) looks mostly alike the Washington DC arms see here also I may be wrong but I think there was some arms like this on metal poles in Toronto Canada area.....It's not a style (in specific geometery shape of the arm) i see too often, even if it was pretty basic shape! LOL
joe_347V   [Jan 05, 2011 at 02:20 AM]
Yep, they do have some similar looking arms in Toronto but most of them were removed in 2005/2006. Here's a example of one.
Form109   [Jan 07, 2011 at 09:17 PM]
most signal poles in birmingham have arms like this, they are pretty tall too and nearly all of them have 400 and 1 KW Fixtures.
