Yep Deigned to burn Horizontal as the Electrodes are offset, the alternative is to use a Bent Arc Tube as found in the US Osram/Sylvania Lamps see HERE[/url and [url=http://lamps019.webs.com/Sylvania-400w-Metalarc-Arctube.jpg]HERE.
