These are pretty interesting looking lights. They must not have been very popular since there doesn't seem to be very many out there.

Interesting heatsink on the ballast door. Even regular Powerpads are really rare in my area, I think I only saw a couple of them in use.

NECo used some 100/175W MV 313 FCOs here in the mid-late 80s but they're rare. Yeah heat rises so I can't imagine the heatsink doing much good. Laughing
