I wonder what exactly happened to the PC?
TiCoune66   [Sep 09, 2011 at 10:01 PM]
It cooked for two hours, but I'm not sure if it had something to do...

Just saying... Laughing [/sarcasm]

Vince I know that - I commented on the picture Razz But what exactly would of failed inside because of the heat.
TiCoune66   [Sep 09, 2011 at 10:06 PM]
Probably the photoresistor. We use thermal PCs here, so that's pretty much the only part that can fail.
GullWhiz   [Sep 09, 2011 at 10:38 PM]
Not really the only part that can fail...LOL....I have seen different ways for thermal photocells to have issues LOL Including some exploded ones (exploding inside causing the PC window to be all brown or black)

Almost surprising the refractor didn't melt!
joe_347V   [Sep 10, 2011 at 02:21 AM]
Yeah, the refractor surprisingly looks fine.
streetlight98   [Nov 27, 2011 at 03:41 AM]
Looks clean inside too. I'd think there would be some ash from the smoke caked on there.
Form109   [Jan 07, 2012 at 12:08 AM]
how do you know the fire caused the light to dayburn maybe the photocell decided to quit its job. Laughing
streetlight98   [Jan 07, 2012 at 01:02 AM]
Well, heat energy makes thermal photocells shut off the load. Fire brings extreme heat energy and kills the thermal photocell. Razz
