Old-ish Globe Electric emergency light.
I found this emergency light at the recycle centre. It's one of the classic ones with 6V incandescent lamps and a lead-acid battery. There was no battery when I picked it up, so I have yet to get a 6V lead-acid battery of > 5Ah. Also I plugged a 12V battery by mistake, it didn't hurt the bulbs fortunately. The circuit board inside doesn't work properly though, the 12V battery is likely not what broke it because the circuit was already defective before I put the battery.

Note the fixture sports the classic Globe logo!

I remember these! Some stores here used to use them for emergency lighting and I think even Canadian Tire sold them.

I remember one summer, probably 5 or 6 years ago, when I used to go to day camp. In the room where we met before starting the day of at other moments, there was a few of those lights, not exactly that model but I remember they had 2 projectors. We used to mess with the cord plugged into the wall, just for the heck of turning the projectors on and off LOL.

Nice! I like centralized systems. They are big units that are 12v and can run 200w and more. I have 5 like that. I have alot of emergency lights.
