My M-250 R2.
Here it is. Still have the 40 tag on it but I am gonna replace that soon. xD

This is gonna stay MH, that's why I bought the ballast, I wanted it for this fixture.

Just gonna let you know, that lens is going to brown out fast if you use MV or MH. I would either put the flat glass back in or get a glass one.

Only Refractor I have for this fixture. But I will ocassionally be switching refractors for a bit. I Have 4 Drop lens small fixtures yet only three refractors. I am a refractor short. o.o I wonder if I can order one from graybar
streetlight98   [Oct 06, 2011 at 01:43 AM]
When you order one, I'd get glass, but as a part, i know the GE M-250R2 glass sells for $70. Shocked Not sure of others though.

I wonder if the Holophane one would be cheaper?
streetlight98   [Oct 06, 2011 at 01:47 AM]
Well, Holophane makes the GE lens, so you could probably order it from them too. Could be a bit cheaper actually. Buying directly is usually better. Buying in bulk is too.
gailgrove   [Oct 06, 2011 at 02:11 AM]
So Ian you'd better buy 30 GE refractors and you can get them for $30 each. Laughing
LilCinnamon   [Oct 06, 2011 at 02:32 AM]
How can I order directly from holophane?

What's funny Holophane is under the SAME company as American Electric lighting, on the site it says "Holophane, An Acuity brands company"

Who all has known this?
gailgrove   [Oct 06, 2011 at 02:39 AM]
Yes Acuity Brands owns a bunch of companies, AEL, Holophane, Lithonia, Dark to Light just to name a few. I would suggest looking here to contact Holophane.
LilCinnamon   [Oct 06, 2011 at 03:13 AM]
I have to contact one to order one? How much would one be?
gailgrove   [Oct 06, 2011 at 03:21 AM]
Well obviously you have to contact them to find out how to order one, if they even sell them, they could have some deal with GE that Holophane will only sell to GE. I have no idea of the cost but Michael about $70.
LilCinnamon   [Oct 06, 2011 at 03:28 AM]
I hope they are cheaper than that. Cause I would have to pay for shipping too.
joe_347V   [Oct 06, 2011 at 03:30 AM]
Refractors occasionally show up on ebay...but none right now. I did find a merc M-400R2 though.
streetlight98   [Oct 06, 2011 at 03:30 AM]
That's why I'd check ebay and for roadkill that you can snag a refractor off of. Oh and the M_400R2 isn't 120v though.
joe_347V   [Oct 06, 2011 at 03:34 AM]
You could still run it off 240V. Razz At least it's not 277 or 480 only.
LilCinnamon   [Oct 06, 2011 at 03:51 AM]
There are a couple cobraheads being sold by that guy, A couple M-400 R3's, a couple M-400 A3's, and that M-400 R2.
