35W HPS cobraheads must have been a special order thing since these were not cataloged with 35W HPS listed.

How bright is a 35W? Not that bright i would imagination Razz

2250 lumens. They're the lumen equivalent to 150W incandescent.

i've seen 35W HPS Wallpacks....but never streetlights.....a 150 Watt Incandescent bulb is pretty bright....well at least in a small room.

150W incandescent is bright in a room but yeah, not outdoors 30ft up lol. I made my own 35W HPS miniature high bay. It's nice and bright indoors but because it's HPS it's not very useful lol. I could make it 50 or 70W PSMH but I'd have to remote ballast it. 35W HPS ballast is the only one that will fit and anything higher in wattage would make way too much heat.

I think the lowest streetlight I've seem is 70w HPS and 70w PSMH. I have a 35w HPS wallpack which works well in the alley next to my house but I can't imagine it 30ft in the air lol.

The lowest I've seen is 50W HPS and 50W PSMH (the latter up near Mt. Monadnock in NH; and it's as useless as 50W HPS lol).
