Almost any M-400 I've seen with the refractor door down/gone, the reflectro is gone as well. Neutral

That's because the reflector isn't screwed into the body, but clipped onto the body...for easy reflector replacement.....that's why I think the later fixtures got reflectors screwed onto the body.......

How do birds even fit in the fixture?
joe_347V   [Nov 29, 2011 at 03:32 AM]
If it's like my R47, they squeeze their way in through the gap in the slipfitter and live in the ballast compartment. Shocked

Without getting electrocuted??

And how are the reflectors mounted in an M-400?
streetlight98   [Nov 29, 2011 at 03:57 AM]
Probably the same way the westinghouse reflectors are mounted, or similar at least.

Ian you have several GE Fixtures that should give you an idea eh?
LilCinnamon   [Nov 29, 2011 at 04:24 AM]
None are mounted the way as these. I say my OVM and L-150 would be similar to how the reflector is mounted in this thing.

There's an older GE M-400 near my area missing the reflector and refractor since 1993.
