This wiring here, how they did it, really bothers me....NYC does similar thing but they don't modify the housing by cutting a hole...they just put it through the slip fitter hole!
I rather see going through slipfitter than cutting a fixture! I also have seen this in Chicago, which is same, going through slipfitter...not CUTTING a fixture...
But taping a door open is hilarious and doesn't bother me that much!
When NGrid does overhead feeds for metal poles where it failed, they use the same type of wire that they use to do normal wood poles wiring jobs and then feed the white and black wires got fed up the arm via a hole drilled into the bottom of the arm where the hole would normally be on a wood pole arm. NGrid's overhead feeds for cases where the underground wire fails look pretty good I have to say, but now they're starting to fix them and I'm having trouble finding a good example to take a pic of.
But taping a door open is hilarious and doesn't bother me that much!
