Guess what guys?! I got one of those fixtures from a certain CROW! Thank you Certain CROW! It is actually a quartz halogen light...so what lamp was in this one? did it have screw in socket or a quartz MH? Let me know! I am now suddenly interested!
streetlight98   [Nov 05, 2011 at 01:11 AM]
Looks like one of those hard candy-shaped halogen lamps inside........
GullWhiz   [Nov 05, 2011 at 03:00 PM]
Hmmm? Hard candy shaped? I mean I see a MH arc tube inside it....and he even said it was a MH......but I got one recently...it's actually made for Halogen fixtures those tubular halogen fixtures.....but I wonder if this got retrofitted with a screw in socket...or did they actually use a tubular MH and added a ballast? This fixture, I tell ya is an old fixture....probably the 60s-70s.....quality..is....WHOOOOA!

@Jace, I thought it was a typical screw base MH, but I will see if I can get back there soon and take a better look.
