How long does it take for LPS toreach full brightness?
joe_347V   [Sep 22, 2011 at 09:57 PM]
Mine takes around 15 minutes.
gailgrove   [Sep 22, 2011 at 10:00 PM]
15 minutes! Shocked I though the average warm up time of a LPS lamp was 7 minutes.
joe_347V   [Sep 22, 2011 at 10:04 PM]
Well it was an approximation Razz I'll have to time it when I get home.
streetlight98   [Sep 22, 2011 at 10:06 PM]
Is it longer for 90 watt tubes?
joe_347V   [Sep 22, 2011 at 10:07 PM]
Not sure I only have 18w ones.
gailgrove   [Sep 22, 2011 at 10:09 PM]
I doubt it, HPS takes about the same length of time whether it's a 35 watt lamp or a 1kW one.

My 35w lamp takes about 5 minutes to warm up. (on a Fulham Workhorse 3 ballast, using 2 outputs.)
