Ecolux label.
Here is the label to my Red Ecolux Module... VERY similar to GE.... GE probably bought Ecolux, cause it's made in the same city...

oh wow yeah GE must've bought EcoLux because that's the name they use for the low mercury lamps.

Ecolux was swallowed up by GE. GE's LED division has had many names. Prior to its current name, they were GELcore, then they dropped "core" and called it GE Lumination...now I think they are calling it GE Lighting Solutions

Ahh thanks for the information. i guess they didn't make up the EcoLux name for their low-mercury content lamps. their HID lighting divison (street, parking lot, flood lighting, gymnasium, etc lighting) is GE Lighting Solutions. Before that they were GE Lighting Systems. For their light bulb division it's jsut GE Lighting.

Here's an article about the acquisition if anyone want to read more about it.

thanks joe. wow i didn't know it happened back in 2000. I didn't know they had the incandescent-like modules back then.

Well, if you're taking about the one in this pic, it's a pixelated one (see the red) but I believe the earliest incandescent look one I've seen was only a couple of years newer like 2001 or 2002.
