We had several of these installed at work and for some reason most of them failed miserably early.

Speaking of CFL failures I repaired 2 CFLs today LOL. It was ridiculously easy! One capacitor in each to replace, and voila, back in business (well they're in my stockpile for now but I plan to use it).

IIRC, the local Home Depot used to sell these under the "Commercial Electric" brand a few years ago.

I think Home Depot sells these under the EcoSmart brand. They actually work really well.

Yeah, I know it isn't the best quality, but it works. It made a POP sound when I used it in my bedroom to test it with the switch. It's not bad for general colletion purposes.
