Globe 13W soft white CFL
Globe gets a pretty good part of CFL market in Canada under different brands. Most of them are sold under their own brand, like this specimen here, and two stores (Canadian Tire and Wal-Mart) sell them under the NOMA and Great Value brand, respectively. As of the Great Value ones, I've not seen them around since a while, so they're maybe not sold anymore.

I guess Canadian Tire switched from using GE CFLs in they're NOMA CFLs then since I have a few NOMAs with the GE design.

I believe the RONA brand CFLs are also made by Globe.

True, some NOMAs are GE made.

Speaking of those, last summer I've once opened two almost identical 13W soft white CFLs, one GE and one NOMA-branded GE.

The GE had a pretty decent circuit, with properly sized components, the NOMA though! Its circuit was cheap with much smaller components! If I happen to come across two more of those, I'll post a side-by-side comparison, it's surprising! Shocked

It is truly small CFL, big enough to fitted in regular A19 fixture Smile

Yeah, that's the nice thing about these!
Here in Alaska, USA I see Satco-branded 5000K and 3000K ones that look identical (so probably made by the same manufacturer). They (well the daylight ones anyway) start out dim/mercury-starved but warm up. I don't have any myself, but I see them everywhere.
