Restore find! Thomas & Betts (American Electric) 70w HPS wallpack! Went to Springfield with a coworker today, and found this for 5 dollars! New Old Stock 1997 Thomas & Betts 70 watt High Pressure Sodium wallpack. Never before been used, and works great! Must have been something no one needed, but 5 dollars was a bargain for this thing, I am sure back in the day this costed like... 30 dollars? Maybe, and including inflation that would be like 70 to 100 dollars of today's money. But then again my inflation counter is probably way off so I would just say about 70 to 100 dollars this would have been brand new back in the day (if money was worth how much it is now) Works great! I taped the internal PC so it would work, it came with a coated HPS lamp, and it works like a charm! Enjoy! Lit up images, open and closed. This thing is bright! Keywords: American_Streetlights

It's kind of a mindf*ck since you expect MV or MH with a coated lamp lol. First time I saw a coated HPS fire up I was so confused lol.

My first HPS lamp I ever owned was a coated 400w HPS lamp, I may still have it laying around somewhere... But it's definitely on pictures in the abyss of my gallery way deep in the past history, but I have no idea where it is now, I probs still have it though, it came with that M-400 R2 I got on an ebay auction long ago as my first streetlight.

I have a few coated HPS lamps, my first one was also a 400w. Then I found a 100w medium base, and more recently a 70w medium base.

Yeah I have a couple of coated GE 400W HPS. They're cool because they're ED37. I think I might have a medium base 50W coated HPS too but I think that's it.

The wiring diagram suggests that there is a optional terminal block. Kinda neat they offered that option.
