Yeah those things are a joke. IMO, if the wireless controls fail, it should revert to independant dusk-to-dawn operation automatically to prevent dayburning.
Yeah the ones here act weird all the time. They also tend to dayburn randomly. Since they just twist into standard PC sockets, they could always replace them with a good old PC.
You would think that these would just be a normal PC with an additional antenna to receive signals so that way if the signal gets lost it will just function dusk-to-dawn but apparently they're shorting caps with antennas lol. I guess there's a relay inside that receives the signals?
