Nice! i wish the RLG was used more here. They look good in black. As far as i knew they were only offered in gray and brown though so i guess they either painted this themselves or custom ordered them black.

Yeah it was likely custom then. There are custom painted OV-15's, R47's, R7's, 125's, OVZ, 115, and some other FCO fixture that I have never seen anywhere else but downtown Toronto. I like the RLG except they aren't used in my city

Update: these have been AE 125'd and the other lights have been replaced with tapered e arms with AE 115s

Hmm any apparent reason as to why they did this? Did they switch the wattage?

I have no idea at all, they are HPS 150w IIRC. I have no idea. Toronto is really weird with their lights. Downtown is a mixture of everything between Gumballs, AE 125, AE 115, OVX now, OVF now, GE M250R2s, OVZ, Lantern type things and manny more. If you go streetview in downtown toronto its a mess of different lights and fixtures! lol

The Hubbell RLG is probably my current favorite production cobrahead....

yeah they're pretty cool lights. Not all that common though. Probably because they're so expensive.

i happen to like the RLG Because it looks awfully similar to an AE 25...i've heard they're expensive,yeah they're pretty uncommon compared to the Other brands. of course Round these parts Lumec's arent excactly common either.

Lumecs are even less common here. Mostly GE and Cooper for new installations though AE was used until the mid-90s here by the electric company. Yeah I always thought the RLG was a two-door version of the Series 25 before I knew better lol.

Lumecs used to be common in Newmarket but they all got wiped out by LED.

the first time i saw a Lumec was in a Parking lot in Gladewater,Texas.....here in Fort Worth they pop up in some Newer HPS Installs....IMO they light pretty good & evenly too.
