Nice! too bad it's 240V though. do you have an accessable 240V source to light it? have you ever tested it?

Nice and simple!

@ MiKe, no I don't have a 240 volt source at my my work bench as of yet but I may in the near future, yea this is a simple design power into the ballast and power out.

yeah all it is is a mega preheat fluorescent choke lol. Looks like the PC is wired for 120V? or is the PC 240V too? Here we had 240V lights with 120V photocel receptacles

Yes the P.C is wired for 120 volt operation. all the lights around here before the change over were 240 volt with 120 volt P.C's. Now there all 120 volt fixtures.

Ahh Same here. the lights up until the late 80s were 240V with 120V PCs, then they switched to 120V (for MV and HPS). There were no OV-12s or OV-14Bs here though, the OV-10 integral ballast was used here instead (which was made at the same time as the OV-12 and OV-14B). The OV-10s were 120V though. Mine is 175W 120V and was used in southeastern Massachusetts, which had the same parent company as Narragansett Electric here did.
