hmm i wonder if this could run a T17... Seems this ballast is rather junky since it appears to be made as a "one size fits all" deal (well, one ballast fits all deal). usually ballasts that run a wide number of lamps and lamp combinations don't seem to be made as tough. plus, well, it's electronic so it can only get so good lol. Laughing

I believe the ballast factor on these one size fits all ballasts can be quite variable with different types of lamps. They're good for experiments though. Razz

IMO the versatile ballasts are better since you only need one 'tester' ballast for all kinds of lamps...

Like I said, they're good for experiments and testing but I prefer using a real ballast for any long term use. LPS is a bit tricky to find so I might consider using this though.

Let us know how this ballast runs a 90w LPS though Darren.

even as a tester ballast, a F40T12 lamp might work on this but not on preheat.
