Geeze someone is really concerned about glare! I mean come on! It's full cut-off for a reason. Rolling Eyes Laughing

I have seen a few of the new LEOTEK LED lights here get on of these glare shields.

I can't believe they would put something like this on a full cutoff street light.

it looks hideous on any streetlight. Confused

We actually have a lot of streetlights with clip on glare shields on sag and FCO fixtures...it actually works honestly it does work!

I've seen both the cobrahead and highmast version in use here, the highmast version is pretty common too.

IMO, the "dog cone" style glare shield looks the best out of all of them...

I agree, it's too bad that they don't seen to use them anymore though.

I do see cone styles get installed here....not as much as they used to...

PEPCO has NO shielded stuff, MD state SHA do actually use shields...I have seen them in both styles.

There are no sheilded lights here either besides older GE powerfloods. There are a few M-250R2s that have dog cone shields on I-95, but they aren't transfered to the new light when the light fails.
