Indicator Controls Corp signal with 3 dialight LED modules.
Here it is with three dialight LED modules, I think it looks nice this way. This will be my LED signal out of the other two which are incandescent.

Red was bought on ebay, Yellow was given to me by a linemen, Green I found with my Mcain signal (wasn't in it) and the other green New Dialight Design module.

At least I have a matching set for this signal, and it is gonna stay in this signal, making this an LED signal. The other two are incandescent while this one is LED.

Can't go wrong with a nice set of Dialights!! Looks great

Why do these dialights have trouble fitting? I had to CUT some of the plastic off so these could fit, without that plastic cut, the dialights wouldn't fit at all.

I am glad they do fit with that plastic cut though..

I guess it's because they're boxier and bulkier than most LED modules.

Earlier plastic heads were inconsistent in size. Some where slightly bigger, others were slightly smaller.

I wonder if they will ever have an LED module that has all three colors, like it's the same as these, but there are different color LED's in the module and each color set is on a different circuit with different wires. That would be cool, and no matter which color is on the module will look the same lit except for the color.

A company called Unilight made a product similar to what you said. It was a single LED fixture that installed in a single section traffic signal housing. It displayed all three colors but was quickly pulled off the market because it failed to meet any visual guidelines in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Color blind can't tell what color is lit at any given time. Unilight ended up closing up shop in the mid 2000s

Interesting, I never knew they made tri colour LED modules before, they must be pretty rare. Shocked

I have sold this signal to another friend of mine (He did join this site).

I kept all three LED modules but I gave him my set of RX-11's.

So the only traffic light I own is the McCain and that LFE signal. Both will mainly be incandescent.
streetlight98   [Aug 02, 2013 at 06:02 PM]
is the older 8" signal the LFE signal? Which cobraheads did you keep? Did you keep the L-150?
joe_347V   [Aug 02, 2013 at 09:30 PM]
Yeah it's a 8" LFE from the 80s or so. Good idea on keeping it too, you don't really see a 8" signal with glass lenses out on the streets nowadays.
