December 1965! Nice! I don't have many early 60s MV lamps actually! Most are the 70ish

Hehe all my vintage mercs are from the 60s, I have no merc lamps from the 70s and three from the early 80s.

I have mercs of all decades from the 50s to the 00s, and even a 175W Philips from 2010 I bought recently! I have only one from the 50s though, my Westinghouse H33-1-GL/C Lifeguard WeatherDuty.

Beautiful lamp with a perfect etch! The holy grail of mercury lamps.

That's not all! I don't want to make you guys jealous or anything, but I snatched ANOTHER Westinghouse H38-4JA/W lamp like this one! Shocked Shocked

I swear, the /Ws are almost chasing me! Shocked

My oldest lamp is a 1990 Sylvania BT-28 merc, but I'd hardly call it vintage.

Joe: Awwww xD If I find a 3rd one it's yours Laughing

Michael: It's not that hard to find vintage mercury lamps. I can find some for you if you want! Wink

It's hard for me to find vintage lamps (except for incandescents, but those are my grandpa's, not mine). I'd love a vintage merc or two if you come across them! Cool

Try eBay and Restore, that's where most of my vintage mercs came from. Some hardware stores might still have vintage mercs but you'll have to get really lucky to find one there.
