What do the etch on the lamp looks like? Nice looking box and fixture. Smile

Is Eiko good are are they like PlusRite? Razz

I have Eiko lamps. Mostly projector lamps. (Halogen MR-16s.)

No idea if they're any good.

I tend to try and buy Sylvania in general since they're inexpensive yet they make a decent product. I used to be a GE fan, but I've noticed new GE lamps are crap. Sad

I generally use Sylvania lamps as they do seem to be performing quite well. I have 1 175w MH, 175w MV (clear and coated), MR16 50w, incandescent blacklight 75w. The other generic MV that I got with a yardblaster doesn't start reliably. It has a shortened arc tube, and discovered that many new MV's have this problem.

This is the first off brand I'v used It seems to operate rather well with great color . I normaly use GE, Phillips or Westinghouse. accualy this is the first Arc Master I'v seen.

I generally prefer using lamps from the big three, but I do have some off brands in use.

What's the 'big three'?
streetlight98   [Mar 17, 2012 at 06:52 PM]
For lamps, the Big 3 is Sylvania, Phillips, and GE. For streetlights it's AEL, Cooper, and GE.

Thanks for the info.
