Looks like your using a lights to go circuit board. Run the hot lines from each lampholder to the lefthand 1, 2, 3 terminal screws, the fourth tie all the neutrals to. Then jumper over pigtails to the circuit board inputs. AC can just plug directly in to the board. That'll organize it a bit.

Thanks. I'll do that. Smile Can I just strip an extension cord and use that wire or should I buy soem sort of special wire?
joe_347V   [Feb 23, 2012 at 12:19 AM]
If the extension cord has a ground, I guess it should be fine with this. To ground it I would crimp on a terminal to the ground wire then attach it to a screw on the body.

extension cord wire will work, or 18-22AWG wire rated at 300V. You'll need four wires going into the circuit board, plus the power cable.

Wire ground to the fifth row screw isolated from the other circuits, or to the aluminum housing

Okay. Thanks guys. Smile I'll buy a long extension cord and I'll go from there. I'm not going to do that until after I repaint this though. i'm aiming for this summer but who knows. Any of my restorations come out crappy anyways. Sad
@ Nick, sorry I forgot to answer the first part of your comment; yes this is a Lights to Go sequencer.

Hey when you restore this you should get some glass lenses, gaskets, and visors for this. Cool
streetlight98   [Feb 23, 2012 at 03:14 PM]
I'll be getting visors and gaskets, but if I get glass lenses I'll likely end up breaking them since i'm a bit clumsy at times. Laughing If your wondering why there's duct tape on the red reflector ring, it's becuase this fell over on a windy day with the red section opened up. Thankfully only that broke.

This I what I'll be getting:
- Extension cord to use to rewire this and to use as a new power cord
- Three 12" gaskets
- Three 12" visors (preferably cut-a-way)
- One reflector holder
- Two cans of black spray paint (I guess that means i need primer too...)

Oh I see, well I personally prefer glass because of how they look when lit and that they're a lot more durable than plastic. But if you do decide to use glass make sure to use gaskets with them.

Hmm. Maybe if I have enough $$$ left after the rest i'll try and find a set. Very Happy

Hey... I think my incandescent reflectors I got were from a PEEK traffic signal, the reflectors in this picture look EXACTLY the same as the ones I have! Too bad they don't fit my signal right, but at least they FIT. xD
joe_347V   [Feb 23, 2012 at 04:23 PM]
I wonder if these would fit a Fortran signal since the two have very similar housings.
LilCinnamon   [Apr 30, 2012 at 03:10 PM]
Hey Micheal, where did you get this signal? Did you say craigslist or something? I forget... And I don't see it mentioned anywhere.

What part broke? I can hardly see, and what happened? Is it cracked a bit? I hope it's okay. xD

And good luck on the visors. I don't have any extra visors so I can't help you there. xD I mean I have SOME extra but they are yellow and plastic.. Plus I Have less then three... And they might not fit this. xD

Where would you get the visors and gaskets?
joe_347V   [Apr 30, 2012 at 03:25 PM]
I would guess eBay...I saw visor sets and lenses and gaskets there before. Oh and if you know someone with a metal shop you could actually make visors by yourself too.

@ Ian, my uncle saw the ad for this on Craigslist. Look at the top right of the red section's reflector ring. You'll see duct tape around the broken area. It broke solidly, but is the only damage to this light. I unfortunatly don't know anyone in the blacksmith profession. Sad Otherwise I'd have a few custom made preheat strip lights lol.

On a side note, I MIGHT be hanging one of my lights outside since I got a roughly 10ft tall pole from my grandpa. I need bolt cutters to remove a few rusty bolts though.
