I don't know who thought this was funny, but about a year ago I noticed some screwball ripped off the "I" thinking it was some sort of joke. :roll: Well, the way the government is taxing us, they might as well set up madiory "tax stands" lol. I wonder where I can get red vynal letters or a sheet to cut out a new "I" for this...
Silk screen - They take a thin woven fabric ( originally silk, nowdays either thin stainless mesh or a fine woven synthetic fabric for a few off) and mask it off with wax where they do not want the ink. Then it is pressed down onto the sheet and ink is applied with a wiper to force it through the fabric where there is no wax, making a pattern on the sheet. For a multiuse stencil it is normally made from thin stainless and welded to the mesh. It has a moderate setup cost but a very low per unit cost, and is more weather resistant than vinyl tapes. Properly done it will last decades with almost no degradation.
