Ah I see. That's awesome! They want the optical assembly lined up with the road but the poles have the lights diagonal. Very cool configuration.

I drive down Wilshire occasionally to check on their welfare. They did get new green paint not too long ago but they will eventually go. About half have been replaced with a retro MH fixtures on the original poles. Please LABSL, have a heart !

Interesting that they had a left and right version so that the optical assemblies line up with the street.

It's been 10 years since I've been in LA, but I had travelled down Wilshire at night just to enjoy the view of these beauties. Already some of them had been replaced then. Glad to know some are still hanging on & not succumbing to LEDisease (yet).
