It doesn't have to be pretty but you have to do it right because you're putting you and any others that are in the house with you in danger. If your house burns down and the wiring is not to code, the insurance WILL NOT cover it. Then you're homeless with no money just because you wired an electrical item incorrectly. Confused It makes more sence to put a little extra time and money into things like this that can save you your house, your possesions, and most importantly you! Electricity is not a toy. Wink

no no,it's all good,i use part of like lighting house christmas village cord with brighter led bulb and besides i don't leave it on that long,thanks for yall's concern Razz

Actually, according to the NEC Code, those types of cords are intended to be used and hanged maximum of 90 days, it's temporary wiring, you need a permanent setup....

Yeah, I seriously recommend fixing this wiring up to code.
