OVW?! What happened to the OV-25 and OV-15 designations? Confused Sad Unfortunatly it appears you'll need to be in the same room as your dryer whenever you want to light this up. Sad Does it have a PC socket?

Yeah I was a bit surprised to see the OVW designation instead of OV-25. I guess the OVW designation is for the grey one with the Cooperized reflector while OV-25 and OV-15 are for the silver ones with the Westy designed reflector.

I thought they don't make the silver ones? Maybe the older westinghouse names are used on the drop lens versions while the FCO versions have the OVW name? I'm thinking of contacting Cooper for an "OVW" spec sheet...

What's the date of this fixture?

Hmm maybe the silver one is a unlisted item for Canada, a lot of Cooper lumes here are silver even brand new OVFs.

Westy Canada made a FCO OV-25 but it used the regular Westy reflector. Not sure if they called it a different model though.

Aren't they bare though, not silver? Neutral

it more like a painted greyliner

CrazyLamp, do these have photocell sockets? Man I'd love to find one of these here, though I'd rather have the OV-15 version lol.
CrazyLamp   [Jul 23, 2013 at 03:50 PM]
Yes these do have a PC, the neck of the ovw is 4 inches lop off from the ov25 as the ov25 door won't fit it. And this street light is not that old.

what's the date on it? I wonder what the OV-15's model number is. I had asked about the OV-15 and OV-25 before and they were no help. Cooper's Customer Service really is a joke. Mad Rolling Eyes They're system for customer service is terrible. I asked is THEY manufacture the light and they direct me to their distributer. The distributer sells the lights, not makes them. lol Anyways, they must still be made. I wonder how much the OV-15s cost compared to the OVZ... The Ov-15s definitly look better but must cost more since the OVZ is the more prominent fixture. The OVW looks better than the OVD too but for FCO i prefer the OVF over the OVW...

The ovw is late 2008 I believe. I can't acess to my ovw as I am under the weather, silverliner also have one my ovw added to his collection. The other one is pending but I will let u know if it up for sale or trade. These street lights are still fairly common in Texas now! The look better with the leveling thing remove, there just too lazy to remove it after install lol.
