I've always liked how the Cooper lights have a recessed photocell socket. Makes for a cleaner apperance when there is no PC socket, because you don't see the place it would normally go...

yeah, I noticed that for OVX around here since most of them has a shorting cap (the flat ones make them look good) but if there was those white large shorting cap....eh.....

Shocked Ooh nice! I wonder if that box is a remote ballast.
streetlight98   [Feb 24, 2013 at 11:55 PM]
it looks liek the rusty square thing on the pole above the arm could be the ballast, though i've never seen a square remote ballast. Instead of it being a paint can balalst, i guess it's a spam can ballast?
GullWhiz   [Feb 25, 2013 at 02:54 AM]
Square ballasts do exist! There's a lot square ballasts in Frederick MD....
what you found Mike is most likely a 400 watt MV...and it may be a GE teardrop....as the arm is a GE too........Dave DeSantis...and even Joe may know!
Form109   [Mar 23, 2013 at 04:31 AM]
ive seen spam can ballasts in some places.
GullWhiz   [Mar 23, 2013 at 05:19 AM]
devonte welcome back....do you think you can take pic of the teardrop close up!?! Apparently those Form 109 arms held teardrops in your area!
