I have the same lamp, but except its coated, not clear, and its daylight color temp, and its 7.5w.

How many lumens does it give off?

That's 125lm/W - the same as my latest Osram. The new LED filaments are pretty energy efficient.

I don't understand why these LED filament bulbs don't have a base with electronics.

I believe the driver electronics are actually in the lamp base. If you look into the base, you see a small PCB in there. Now I think the 100w= versions do have a visible electronics base, at the the ones at HD do.
