More details about the inside of those fixtures
I didn't know the design or what to expect when I got them and before opening them.....

I have found they have TWO pieces of refractor glasses put together...one on the outside and a more narrower one on the inside!

Are those pair of 300 Watts mogul base bulbs?
GullWhiz   [Nov 11, 2010 at 12:27 AM]
nope...200 watt medium...but I found out those lamps are also rated for 100 watt MV A-21!!!
rjluna2   [Nov 11, 2010 at 12:35 AM]
I guess it is smaller than I lead to believe Neutral
GullWhiz   [Nov 11, 2010 at 12:38 AM]
For the size...compare it with my small small head! I am only 5'6"

These are the old 200w A23 bulbs.

So if it was MV then would the ballast go in the pole?
joe_347V   [Nov 11, 2010 at 02:35 AM]
Yep, I guess they would use one of those long cylindrical post top ballasts. Wink

Interesting. You could probably track down a pair of H38 postline ballasts and run them as 100w mercury Cool
