Buffalo Branded CFL Sprial I got this at a discount store in Frederick. One of the reasons I bought this is that it had a print on the front saying the price was including a discount courtesy of SCE which is an electric company in Southern California. It is the electric company that powers Admin Dave D's house! I also liked the nifty base design...squarish...reminds me of the classic CFL! Keywords: Lamps

Yup I have SCE! I think I may have seen Buffalo CFLs at an ethinic Mexican supermarket in West Covina, CA.

I think its for one of two reasons, or both. Despite the low price, they aren't selling that well here so they end up being redistributed. Also sellers take advantage of the low CFL prices.

Laughing Over here our utility sends out coupons every spring and fall instead.
