So, what does every(any)one think?
SeanB~1   [Apr 18, 2012 at 08:19 PM]
Would like it in LED, especially a mix of 3200k and with some green mixed in to imitate a mercury lamp.

Well, I do Razz looks interesting but you should get a 70w MH ballast and light and 100w MV in it. Razz

MERCURY VAP-AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

I think this is really interesting, although MV would be interesting too. I guess in the meantime for the MV "look" you could stick in a 6500K CFL.

4200K-4500K CFLs actually look really close to a /DX merc but they're hard to find compared to plain old 4100K CFLs.
joe_347V   [Dec 01, 2013 at 03:30 AM]
Yeah even 4100K CFLs are hard to find sometimes.
streetlight98   [Dec 01, 2013 at 02:52 PM]
yeah, come to think of it, the only CFLs i see sold in stores are 2700K. maybe once in a while a different color temp pops up. Ive seen daylight CFLs in a few places. My uncle's basement for example, has a coule daylight CFLs. there's a house in my neighborhood that even uses all daylight CFLs inside the living room/kitchen area. You can see all bluish light coming out of their large picture window.

I prefer that color myself...although it does look weird indoors I must admit! 5000K ones look slightly greenish and 6500K ones look very blue.

3500K CFLs are hard to find here too. And yeah I've seen some people use 6500K CFLs and so at night all their windows are blue. Shocked

I like that effect indoors as strange as that might sound...
