Philips WIDE-LITE nice!
traffic light1   [Nov 11, 2012 at 01:12 PM]
Yes it is nice.

What wattage and lamp type will it be? Will it have the PC receptacle like in the picture? I've always loved Widelite's floodlights

Nice! a Wide-Lite flood!

An F-series - it's amazing how long this fixture has been made. Are you getting a new one or one that was previously installed?
traffic light1   [Nov 11, 2012 at 07:12 PM]
It is new Cool .It will be 400w mh. Very Happy
streetlight98   [Nov 11, 2012 at 07:16 PM]
Sweet! Maybe sometime i can make it out to your house and see your lights! These are cool. You don't remove the glass to change the lamp. IIRC, the socket assembly pulls out of the reflector.
traffic light1   [Nov 11, 2012 at 07:21 PM]
yes. I will have it most likely by Dec. 12th.
streetlight98   [Nov 11, 2012 at 07:37 PM]
did you get this from a discounted place like ebay or a liquidation place? I heard if these are bought brand new they're a TON of money, which is probably why i rarely see them, though they'll last forever.
traffic light1   [Nov 11, 2012 at 08:16 PM]
I have not gotten it. I will buy it this week or next. Cool.

You''ll have it up by my birthday LOL!
You could also run a MV lamp on that ballast of you wanted!
traffic light1   [Nov 12, 2012 at 11:43 AM]
yes. thank you. so MH and MV can run on the same ballast??
A_lights   [Nov 12, 2012 at 12:28 PM]
Yeah if its probe start(no ignitor) pulse start will have to have the ignitor disconnected to run MV
I have seen many of them in 1KW MV at the ski place here most were converted to MH though
traffic light1   [Nov 12, 2012 at 01:14 PM]
Thank you.
streetlight98   [Nov 12, 2012 at 02:01 PM]
If it can run MV lamps, the ANSI lamp code will be M59 (it may say H33 too) but if it's not M59 or H33 then you cannot run mercs on it.
traffic light1   [Nov 12, 2012 at 02:05 PM]
cool.
