Model 25 after cleaning.
Here is the fixture after I did some cleaning. Looks much better, the reflector is cleaner.

I also just fitted that M-400 R3 Flat (plexi)glass on this and it fits well!

I think this fixture looks good.

That's all you have to say??? xD

Well, there are so many 25s here this isn't really anythign special to me. Razz A mercury vapor one would definetly catch my eye because there no MV versions of this that i'm aware of here. This and the 13 are my favorite AE/AEL/Thomas&Betts/ITT fixtures.

Hmm I wonder.. What was the order of the Companies of Anything AEL?

Was it first American electric, then it turned to ITT, then back to American electric, then Thomas and Betts for a bit, then to American Electric Lighting (AEL)? Is that how it was?

I believe so........

There's still lots of this kind of Model 25 in Brockton just like that. Ever tried switching from full cutoff to semi-cutoff once in a while?

A tissue box?
streetlight98   [Dec 11, 2011 at 08:29 PM]
you use some pretty random things to prop your lights Ian. Razz
GullWhiz   [Dec 11, 2011 at 09:02 PM]
He just wants attention I gotta admit
LilCinnamon   [Dec 11, 2011 at 09:39 PM]
No I don't. :/ Can you stop saying that?

I used a phone box to prop this up. On further pictures I will no longer be SHOWING the box or whatever is holding it up.

I just think putting a side view is good because so people can see the light at different angles instead of just one angle.
streetlight98   [Dec 11, 2011 at 09:45 PM]
I like side views as well. Try using no prop at all when taking the shots. Like putting the fixture on a chair, bed, table, etc.

Ian, I am actually speaking from a few members, not only me.... Rolling Eyes
LilCinnamon   [Dec 11, 2011 at 10:15 PM]
FCO kind of makes it hard, as there is no refractor and the fixture will just topple over due to being unbalanced. If it has a refractor, I tend to do it the other way.

And what do you mean? I am not trying to get attention at all. What if I just like TALKING about lights? I am interested in them, so I ask questions or comment for people's feedback. That's what this site is for.

Just so people don't think I am just getting "attention"
