There's more of remote PC fixtures than you think, they are in older setups, it's same here.....you will see early silver colored GE M-250R that are also remote PCs.....its more common to find those in ComEd and BGE and PSE&G than in a LOT of places....most others had started using internal PCs earlier!

Rhode Island was using internal PCs even with clamshells. Shocked

Most of our older streetlights were remote PC.

This light is gone. In fact, the pole has been cut, and now only the section holding the lower cable remains.

Aw that's too bad. The reason they left part of the pole there is because that bottom fat cable is the phone company's. The electric company only moves their stuff. Then they tell the phone company to move their stuff and tell the municipality to mode any traffic signs over to the new pole as well. Sometimes poles sit for years before the phone company moves their lines over to the new pole lol.
