Thanks Niall and Devonte, I took this pic when both lamps were being preheated, it's kind of odd to see Philips Alto T8s starting up in preheat though.

When I first saw this, I thought it was programmed-start. Interesting that you made it preheat! Unfortunetaly the startup video is no longer available.

Yup, I did some crazy thing with a pair of LPF F30 ballasts back then. Anyway this fixture has since been converted back into electronic T8 and moved to the garage. I cycled though another wrapraround, a Holophane bucket before finally arrving at the F40 louvered fixture I currently use.

Too bad about the video, I'll have to see if I can find it and then reupload it to a more modern host.
