Cool! i didn't know they made the cheapskate 25W T8 lamps until the mid 2000s. That's the font GE used on their NEMA tags before the narrowed Helvectica font. My 250W HPS GE tag has identical numbers.
I believe the 30w 3' T8s are designed for preheat ballasts while these are designed for rapid start and instant start. I have a rapid start ballast for one of these lamps.
Yep..can be confusing since there's like 5 different 4-foot T8 wattages
40w, 36w, 32w, 28w, and 25w (plus ofcourse the rare HO T8 tubes, which apparently come in come in 44w & 48w...have yet to actually see one of those HO T8's, but I've seen all the normal-output ones)
i like the older etches like on my GE F14T12: simple and to the point. IMO the (E) and (Hg) and the tradmark names are just useless "extra" info that no one pays attention to anyways. Just put the manufacturer's name, and the F00T00/XX code that they use.
Nah etches need more info on them like 4500 lumens UL Listed, CSA certified, rapid start only, 5 yr guarantee, medium bi-pin so the customer can know exactly what they're buying.
I've got one F32T8 like this
40w, 36w, 32w, 28w, and 25w (plus ofcourse the rare HO T8 tubes, which apparently come in come in 44w & 48w...have yet to actually see one of those HO T8's, but I've seen all the normal-output ones)
