It wasn't exactly an easy lightweight fixture to install! It was really HEAVY!!!!!! Had to remove refractor door assembly to install it...even without refractor door it was still kinda heavy!
Yes the refractor is exactly the same as the OV-10 and the OV-12 I have an OV-12 and OV-10 myself, and yes the same....although my OV-10 has a different refractor pattern and a newer "W" logo
The fixture itself is same length as the OV-25, but it's MUCH narrower!!!
This OV-14B is 3 feet long, 1 foot at the WIDEST, the narrowest part where the slipfitter is 5 inches wide, from the bottom of the glass to the top of the fixture is 1 foot thick and the bottom cover to the top is 4 inches thick!
Does that give you a good picture of the size??? It's longer than the arm too which is only 2 and half feet!
Well...guess what??? Let me tell you how heavy this thing is......Today I was cleaning my room....and I removed some stuff from the top of the "table" that the street light is attached to....(the stuff on the table was kinda heavy-ish).....well after removing....then I took one more heavy thing....BAM the whole setup tipped foward....and BAM to the floor!!!!!
I saw a Westinghouse OV-15 that was hit by a vehicle earlier this year, and the only thing that was broken was the refractor and the fixture was transferred to a new pole.
I hope the fixture (and Jace of course ) is okay, most knockdowns here get scrapped...I think they scrap all lights with missing parts, basically if it needs more than a lamp or PC they'll scrap it.
Same here, they will replace the refractor if they have some of the right type on the truck but otherwise it's scraping time for the light. They replace working lights sometimes too for some unknown reason.
Here they don't replace PCs for some reason, unless it is dayburning, not even during group relampings. I think the change the lamp anytime the go up to a fixture, it just makes sense to do that.
Since almost all repairs are made at night, unless the lamp is on it's way out, it stays, but for PCs, they can't accuratly tell if it's good or bad, so they just replace it anyways. I don't think they replace ignitors here though.

The arm came from a very nice friend
And the OV 14B is quite long since a Powerlite B2225 is around the same length as a OV 25.
