AEL 115 - 200w HPS
An AEL 200w HPS street-light (same as LilCinnamon posted a few days ago here )
...yep I made a trip up to that ReStore he mentioned had this on friday & got it! Looked through the rest of their lights, they also had a couple HID wallpacks (I didn't buy or really look that closely at) & a couple fluorescent striplights (price was too high so left those too)

This is my first AEL fixture, and first 200w HPS... (lamp was included & looks good - will get a pic sometime later)
Needs only minor cleaning, and haven't tested yet since it was raining some today & everything is wet outside

How many do they have?
LilCinnamon   [May 20, 2018 at 03:32 AM]
They only had two. So there are no more left. Glad you got this! 20 bucks is good, the M-250 R2 I also got here was the same price.

@LilCinnamon:
Glad you posted in your pic letting me know there was a 2nd one Smile I rarely go to that ReStore.
More likely to go to the one on Quincy (or occasionally the Denver one).
The one in Aurora & Highlands-Ranch aren't even worth bothering with. Laughing

If I'm ever up in Boulder & have time I'll have to check out that other place.

Nice! My local Restores seem to be very hit or miss in terms of streetlights.

@joe_347V:
In all the years I've been going to ReStores, there have only been 2 other times I've seen streetlights...in both cases they were too expensive for me. Laughing
I believe one of those times after me mentioning it here, LilCinnamon was able to go get the light Smile

I've seen streetlights at Restore around 3 times and I missed out on them one time. Sometimes the Restores here post about their items on Kijiji, that's how I found out about the one I missed.

I got all of those lights, and I don't believe I own any of those from a while back. From years ago.

The place in Boulder is called ReSource. it's across the street from the huge power plant on Arapahoe Ave (Around Aprapahoe and 63rd) and it does usually have good things, they had some ballasts as well.

The restore here in Longmont never really has anything good, it's smaller but it is decent size. I've looked a few times and I haven't seen much even back in the day, I have yet to find anything decent enough at that store here.

@Lil'Cinnamon:
I knew you'd gotten atleast one of them Smile
But you don't own any of them anymore ?? Did you have to sell of your lights when you moved or something?

I'll deff have to look up ReSource if/when I'm up in Boulder to see if its anywhere near where I'd be going...

I .might. get a chance to check out that ReSource store today..gonna have to look on a google-map to see exactly where it is for if I end up going up towards Boulder.
LilCinnamon   [Sep 09, 2018 at 07:09 PM]
It's on Arapahoe avenue, it's across from the big power plant. It's not too far from I live since I live in Longmont. I haven't been to there in a while.

I wish the restore here in town had decent things, it's smaller and it doesn't tend to have a great selection
xmaslightguy   [Sep 10, 2018 at 02:25 AM]
I found their website...and it said closed Sundays Sad
The power plant would deff be a good landmark to look for since you can't miss something like that! But I still wanted to see an actual map, because I don't know Boulder...looks like its on the eastern edge of the town. I was farther west (though I did actually cross Arapahoe Laughing )

Probably only a small chance since I rarely go up that way due to the fact Boulder is over an hour drive from me, but maybe if things ever work out, we could meet at that store & check out the lights together Laughing

The ReStore in your area sounds more like the one in Aurora - smaller and not a great selection.
