Safety stand down day
Street light demo. This demo was used in our Safety stand down day. I have an incandescent, open bottom merc, hps, and LED. All lights work via different energy sources, such as a PC bracket, 30a sp relay, and independent PC on top of the HPS fixture. If you notice, the buss in the back ground has a 4th leg, that is the " lazy leg" or street light feed.

Cool, did you set this up? What exactly was the purpose of it?

I'd be beggin' for the M-100 and Admiral's hat incandescent. Laughing

Great job bud...also a GREAT CHOICE of fixtures too!!! I remember you were building them...It will help the education...when the safety day is over...do you plan to have them stored?

If not, I'd be happy to help. If I had room. I don't have room for my OV10. if I get another light I'm going to have to start auctioning them off.

Very nice, and very educational too, did you put the make and model on each light?
GullWhiz   [Jun 11, 2011 at 02:13 AM]
Oh streetlight98...that's not an admiral hat....it's a Quartermoon! They both have noticeably different designs!

The display was built to help others in my company, ( mostly office folk ) who don't really get to see the things a field person works on and how we have to work on these poles using all of our safety gear.
Also the display will remain intact, supervision was pretty happy with how it turned out, and will use this to help train future lighting repairmen.
