R37 during Ice storm
Not many trees around here are in good shape anymore, and a few streetlights have fallen off due to power lines falling with the wooden poles. Ice on everything was about an inch thick. Trees will take a long time to regrow. Lineman and Hydro crews have a lot of work on they're hands right now trying to restore power and take branches off wires.

Thanks, the subdivision beside me has power again Smile . It could, the threat of power outages again is very likely because the ice hasn't melted or fallen off the wires really at all and its suppose to be below freezing for the foreseeable future. Sad 'sigh'

Looks a lot like my street, any street around here really... Our trees lost some branches but the people across the street lost two entire trees. I've got some pictures I'm about to upload.

There's still a lot of streets in the Thornhill/North York area without power so no streetlights and traffic signals.

Some streets got blocked off by fallen trees too.

Well this street no longer has any of these trees. They replanted new trees this fall on this street. Appear to all be Maple and Oak.

That's a shame. Glad to hear new trees got planted though. Maples are by favorite tree. Cool I like oak trees but hate acorns lol.
