Seems rather bright for a parking lot Razz

I agree. I would have used 4 400W PSMH fixtures per pole or maybe 2 or 3 1000W PSMH fixtures per pole but definetly not four.

Those fixtures may have been 4 lamp MV, but retrofitted with HPS.... see those those are the EXACT SAME ONES above
streetlight98   [Oct 09, 2012 at 02:04 AM]
yeah 4X 1000W MV seems to be mor realistic...

Yeah, or 320w PSMH...even our high masts sometimes only use 400w or 750w HPS.

I would rather have more lower wattage bulbs..better light distribution and isn't very dark when a lamp fails
Same principle i use for lights in my house. ..most are 2+ lamp

Yeah the few highmasts used here are 400W. I'd rather have more low wattage fixtures too. I think 200W HPS on every pole on a road is better than 400W HPS every-other pole. The cost is higher though due to the need for more fixtures so utilities don't usually consider that.
