I've never seen or heard of this tool either...but there have been times in the past where I wish I had one!

Well, with most pliers it's a shock hazard (they do make special insulated pliers) so I guess with this it would be safer since it's insulated.

Interesting idea though.

Nice in that you can use it with a lamp changer rod as well so you do not need a ladder or scaffolding to change lamps indoors or in a stairwell.

Now, if you don't have these kind of tool to remove the socket. You can always use the potatoes cut one end and use it to unscrew it Wink
