Well at least they're not using 30 foot poles, eight foot arms, and 100w HPS like in my area.

Too bad they had to replace the Twistpaks though.

Actually these are 32.5 foot poles (why did they chose that height?) and eight foot arms! I don't know what fixtures will be going up yet, I'm sure they will be 70 watt HPS.

That'd be my guess too, either the 115 or OVZ, yeah I hope they aren't FCO either.

why are the post top poles so tall? most of the coach lights here are on 12 or 14 foot poles.

(September 21st) That's just what the standard was here, 70 watt HPS Twistpak on a 25 foot direct burial concrete pole. It helps distribute the light further and I think looks good.

That first TwistPak is also gone, the pole laying on the ground, the rest down the street will likely be going on Tuesday (due to long weekend), if I see the crews I might ask for a TwistPak! But I don't want one that much.
